After a two year Covid gap, the Climbfest in Donegal is set to resume in 2022. The venue is the campsite and community centre at Maghery, Dungloe in the north west of the county. There are a limited number of electrical hook ups and toilets, and food will be available in the centre. Winter Meet January 20-21st
Connemara meet up is to be re-scheduled. Due to wet and windy forecast for both Saturday and Sunday, and continuing lack of choice of hostel accommodation, most (all) have decided not to go to Letterfrack. Climbfest 2024
The 2024 Climbfest will take place at Malin Head on 3rd – 6th May The 2024 Climbfest will be on the usual Mayday bank holiday weekend 3-6 May at Malin Head. Climbing will be centred on the sea cliffs west of Bamba’s Crown (the tower at Malin Head carpark).
